Natural oak joinery, Taj Mahal stone and handcrafted tiles create a space that feels as calm as the rural landscape beyond. Sharing more soon.

A site visit to our ’Summerfield’ project today reminded us how every one of our design choices has been guided by a deep respect for the cottage’s original character. The existing timber floors have been refinished preserving their rich patina, while original wall lining boards remain in place — matched seamlessly where needed to maintain continuity. The stone brick chimney, a defining feature of the home’s past stands just as it always has, anchoring old and new together. Now, with fresh paint, nearly completed kitchen joinery and new lighting in place, the spaces feel both renewed and familiar. Next, furniture installation will bring the final layer to this beautiful home.

Revealing one of our biggest projects to date — The Barn.

A project that started as guest accommodation evolved into a forever home, and over the past few years, we’ve poured ourselves into every detail. Built using traditional timber framing techniques, this structure is both grand and deeply considered. The entire build is filled with custom-made pieces and bespoke joinery, with unique design elements woven throughout. It has been a true collaboration between client, designer, builder, and many talented specialty trades, each bringing their expertise to shape the final result.

This custom buffet crafted from solid oak in Dulux ‘Bogle’ and topped with statement Patagonia onyx stone, balances form and function. This home office nook was designed as part of our client’s walk-in robe, providing a functional workspace that blends seamlessly with the surrounding cabinetry. Right now, it’s used as a desk for everyday tasks, but we planned the space to adapt to the client’s future needs. Down the track, it will easily transition into a vanity or makeup station, with plenty of storage and a layout that’s both practical and beautiful.

Designing with versatility in mind means the space can evolve with our client’s lifestyle, ensuring it stays useful and relevant for years to come.

Rainy site visit yesterday to a local project ‘The Farm’.

The existing shed is being completely transformed through a full renovation and extension. Timber framing has gone up, framed up windows are capturing the aspect of the surrounding farmland, and the exterior cladding has started. We look forward to sharing more as the project progresses!
