Jess Hunter Interior Design, is a highly regarded practice in the NSW Southern Highlands that specialises in bespoke designs for residential and commercial properties.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Studio Manager to join our team in January 2023. This position is 4 days, Monday to Thursday 9 am – 5 pm.

The Studio Manager will manage the daily operations of the Studio and will provide administrative support to the Director and Interior Designers.

We are seeking someone who is highly organised, proactive, has attention to detail and brings a professional can do attitude.

Main duties and responsibilities

Client management, maintaining effective communication throughout the project.
Financial administration, including bookkeeping, payroll (Xero)
Ordering stationery and office supplies
Responding to project enquiries and scheduling client consultations with potential clients.
Onboarding new clients, including setting up and scheduling new projects.
Diary management including scheduling meetings and appointments for Director.
Project management -Effective communication with clients, trades other professionals and suppliers.
Website management
Data entry into our Design Software (Houzz) ensuring a high level of accuracy is maintained.
Client sourcing, ordering and logistic management.

Skills & Experience

Proficient with computer and IT (Mac experience preferred)
Previous experience in a design practice would be beneficial.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Experience in XERO
Experience in BAS lodgement desired
Ability to multi-task and prioritise
Ability to problem solve and work to deadlines.
